I have led an amazing life. The past 26 years of wonderful and exciting and loving grace of an amazing God. I have a really great family and friends and the most fun job in the World. I am a political consultant and I plan major events and work with donors on making my clients WIN and giving them the money it takes to get there. I firmly believe we are all called by God to live a life of service and commitment to our family, the community, the state, the nation and the world.
God is love. God is always patience. God is strength for the weak, when without him there is none. God can do anything, change anyone’s heart. In God, all things become new again. God moves the walls of hate and tears and delivers us to faith, hope, and love. The most important part is the line about love. God’s love for us is so deep and wide and never-ending that we really cannot even imagine how far his grace may take us. God never stops believing in us even when we give up on ourselves.
I have seen great evil in this world, but in the same moment seen greater love in this world than anything else. The love of Angels sent to me by God to give me hope, when my hope was fading, to give me peace where before there was only pain, to love me when I was so angry and hurt and I did not even love myself. God knew and supplied me with just what I needed and, just whom I needed right when I was in need most. I could not ask for more than that.
I am so blessed by God and his grace, his power in my life, his never-ending love for me. The kind of love that God gives to all of his creation, not just to the blessed, but also to all his children, We are all creations of God and loved always by him. I wish I had enough love to heal all the broken hearts in this world. I wish I could show the lost the love that is so divine we do not even have the design for that belongs to God. Only our father in heaven can give that kind of love, without any end ever. At times I am lucky enough that God allows me to Pass it on to his lost and to the already found in this world. This hymn I use is one of my all time favorites because of it message of passing God love to one another, one person at a time till a fire is alive for the Lord.
“ It only takes a spark to get a fire going and soon all those around can warm up in its glowing. That’s how it is with God’s love once you’ve experienced it; you spread his love to everyone; you want to pass it on.”
I want to be a spark in this world that help to fuel a great fire that this world needs so desperately. What this entire world really needs more hope, more faith and the bottom line more love. Notice the love is spread to everyone, not just the ones we already love but also indeed every one of us is loved by God.
I can do nothing unless I make the love of the Lord my only goal and desire. All the rest shall come in God’s own sweet time.

So for a world in need I will pray for love.
So for a world of hate I will pray for peace.
So for a world of doubts I will pray for faith.
Notice I use love first in my lines of hope because love is the first basic need in life. The love of God’s grace to all of us, we are in turn bound by God to pass it on to others. The fact that love prevails in the end ever everything else is living proof that we as Christians will in fact triumph over evil on that perfect resurrection day. Till then we must focus on the world we serve and the people who need us and the gift of sharing God’s message with everyone. As people of faith we must live what we preach and dream about. To preach to the world that is losing faith of God’s perfect love.
I have learned five things from my life. I pray to a loving, merciful, faithful, forgiving and hopeful God, a wonderful Lord, and not a harsh, judgmental Lord that some embrace. The five lessons I have learned are that God can and does forgive us all, God has endless faith, God has hope for everyone, God loves all of us unconditionally, and God will let His mercy and His sense of justice reign in His day of glory, and we get no where in life without His healing power on our broken souls. If I am to be any kind of servant to the Lord that I worship, I must focus my attention on bringing God’s justice to the wounded and the broken, fight the injustice in this world, not for vengeance or revenge, but to bring comfort and peace to the victims of our society’s tragedies. This means I have only just begun to consider the whole concept of justice here on earth. My life purpose is to grow as a Child of God and both in Christian love and as a United Methodist Woman.
I am a proud alum of Weatherford College class of 2002.
I am very honored to be the first Jim Wright Scholar at WC.
I am an alum of American University class of 2004.
I am a new working political professional and I love my work and this time to grow both as a person and mature.
The best is yet to be…the time has come to bring Joy to the World the Lord has come.
Today is the first day of the rest of my life and the new me and the next era of my life here in Fort Worth, Texas...
